Every guide states where its information comes from. No brand pays for placement, and no retailer owns us: our affiliate links keep the lights on without deciding a verdict.

When a line is discontinued, a fabric changes, or a price moves, the Desk updates the affected guides. Furniture is a keep-it-a-decade purchase, so the advice has to hold up at least as long as the sofa.
