Color Temperature (Kelvin)
Color temperature, in Kelvin, describes whether light reads warm (yellow-amber) or cool (blue-white). Homes generally want 2700–3000K in living and bedrooms, up to 3500–4000K over kitchen and desk task zones. Mixing wildly different temperatures in one room is the most common reason home lighting feels off; pick a lane per room and keep every bulb in it.
