CRI (Color Rendering Index)

CRI scores how faithfully a light source renders color compared with daylight. In living spaces, CRI 90+ makes wood tones, fabrics, and skin look right; low-CRI LEDs (80 or below) flatten and grey them out. Combined with color temperature — 2700–3000K for warm domestic light — CRI is the spec that separates pleasant lamps from harsh ones.
